We’re a proud sponsor of The Gynaecological Cancer Fund’s second annual Lady Garden run, which will be taking place in Hyde Park on Saturday 13th May 2017.
Women from all over the country are being called upon to get involved and raise funds and awareness for gynaecological cancers, commonly known as the silent killers.

Following the incredible success of last year’s inaugural event, which saw 250 runners complete a 5K fun run in Battersea Park, this year, the stakes are being raised. The event will now also feature a 10K route and around 500 participants are expected, including a whole host of celebrities.
Kicking off with the 10K at 10.15am, shortly followed by the 5K at 10.30am, the Lady Garden run is expected to end by 11.45am. There will then be a luxurious picnic, supported by run sponsor, D&D London.
Last year, four TOTM runners raised over £800 for the Gynaecological Cancer Fund by taking part in the Lady Garden run and this time we too are planning on raising the stakes. We have eight runners in training and a target of £1500.

Every penny raised goes to The Royal Marsden and Dr Susana Banerjee, a leading oncologist, towards her groundbreaking work into precision thearpies. This involves a personalised approach to gynaecological cancer treatment, which looks at an individual’s DNA in order to tailor drugs to the patient, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Earlier this year, we announced The Gynaecological Cancer Fund as our charity of the year, which involves us donating 10p from every box sold. To find out more about this, read our blog post.
