The lowdown on organic cotton.

Our tampons, pads and liners are made with 100% organic cotton that’s responsibly sourced and meets ethical standards.

Conventional cotton relies on synthetic nitrogen fertilisers, which are made from fossil fuels. Organic cotton doesn’t use them — removing the single biggest energy cost in cotton production.

After extensive research, we chose organic cotton as it’s not only sustainable, but also naturally soft, absorbent, and breathable. This makes it ideal to use in period care.

Clinically Tested, Non Irritating.

Unlike conventional cotton, organic cotton is farmed without toxic pesticides. It has a soft, breathable texture making it ideal to use in period care.

Our products use GOTS-certified organic cotton from the absorbent cover to the topsheet or veil of our tampons, pads and liners. We also never use fragrance, dyes, chlorine bleach or artificial absorbents.

Reducing Waste.

Across our full period care range, our wrappers are made from paper and are recyclable. In 2026, we changed our bio-film pad wrappers to paper, reducing the weight of our packaging by 82%.

Our applicator tampons come with the option of a cardboard applicator, a bio-plastic applicator, or no applicator at all.

Goodbye plastic fibres.

A recent study found that half of 24 tampon brands tested contained plastics in direct contact with the vaginal wall, with some shedding an average of 9.4 billion nanoplastic fibres per tampon during use.

That’s why every TOTM tampon is made with a 100% organic cotton core, wrapped in a soft organic cotton security veil designed to lock fibres in place while providing reliable leak protection. A powerful combination that absorbs effectively while helping prevent fibre shedding.
