Reclassification would ensure robust safety testing, transparent labelling, and ongoing monitoring protecting public health and enabling informed consumer choices about products used in the body.

Our Petition Requests To The Government

We’re taking action and petitioning to the Government to:

Ensure rigorous pre-market safety and performance testing.

Mandate full, transparent ingredient disclosure on pack, including a full list of materials in contact with the body

Require ongoing safety monitoring and reporting including post-market surveillance which covers adverse events, safety signals, and recalls

We’re also asking that this reclassification ensures tampons retain VAT-free status so affordability is not compromised
